Sep 27,  · My favorite "cool school" album is Warne Marsh's Release Record, Send Tape from / -- private jams recorded at Peter Ind's home ciaglazeceligap.anoferzitofetibucknessivovil.infoinfo generally don't play the melodies, but simply spin off incredibly daring for the time (but still "cool") improvised lines on the simple chord changes of songs like "Sweet Georgia Brown" and "Alone Together" (one of the few tracks where Warne does.

When you talk about rare jazz records from the 50’s, holy grails if you will, this one is in the top 5 for me. Rarer than the with NY23 on one side, maybe not with both sides deep groove, but probably the rest of the Blue Notes, and even rarer than the Jackie McLean on Ad Lib.
